🚚 Shipping & Live Arrival Guarantee
We know how important it is for your live insects and invertebrates to arrive healthy, active and ready for their new home! 🐛🪲❤️
We carefully pack every order with the animals' safety in mind and ship using Purolator whenever possible.
📦 Shipping
Orders are shipped Monday–Wednesday to help minimize the amount of time your live animals spend in transit.
Shipping times can vary depending on your location and weather conditions.
Because we are shipping live animals, extreme temperatures may occasionally require us to delay an order until conditions are safer. We will contact you if we feel a delay is necessary.
🌡️ Weather & Seasonal Shipping
We monitor temperatures before shipping live orders.
During periods of extreme heat or cold, we may adjust shipping dates or use appropriate insulation and heat/cold packs when necessary.
Please make sure someone is available to receive your package. Leaving live insects outside for extended periods can expose them to dangerous temperatures.
❤️ Live Arrival Guarantee
We want your live order to arrive healthy and active.
If there is a problem with your live arrival, please contact us within 2 hours of delivery and provide:
- 📸 Clear photos of the animals
- 📦 A photo of the shipping box and packaging
- 🪲 Photos of the affected insects/invertebrates
Claims submitted after the stated time period may not be eligible for replacement.
Do not throw away the packaging until your order has been inspected.
⚠️ Shipping Delays
Once a package has been handed over to the carrier, delays caused by weather, mechanical problems, incorrect addresses or carrier interruptions are outside our control.
We will always do our best to help and work with you if a shipping issue occurs.
📍 Important
We currently ship within Canada only.
We cannot ship live orders to PO boxes because live animals require delivery to a physical address.
Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order.
🐛 Our Promise
We put care into every order we pack. From feeders and springtails to isopods and other invertebrates, our goal is to get your new additions to you healthy, safely packaged and ready to thrive. ❤️
